Plagiarism

Sufiya Journal of Islamic Studies upholds the values of academic honesty and integrity. Therefore, all submitted manuscripts will undergo a plagiarism screening process before proceeding to the peer-review stage.

We use plagiarism detection software to ensure that manuscripts are free from any form of plagiarism, whether direct (copy-paste) or indirect (paraphrasing without proper citation).

Our policy states that:

  • Manuscripts with a similarity index of more than 25% will be returned to the author for revision or may be rejected.

  • All quotations, references, and use of external sources must be clearly cited and comply with academic ethical standards.

  • Authors are fully responsible for the originality of their submitted work.

By submitting an article to this journal, authors are deemed to have understood and agreed to our plagiarism policy.
